- A referral to a specialist is required and will only be issued after an initial consultation with a General Practitioner (GP) or Internal Medicine (IM) doctor. However, members may also see a specialist if they present a valid outside doctor referral.
- Laboratory tests can be scheduled but must be endorsed by a PCC doctor. Tests outside the plan coverage will be out-of-pocket Members may also undergo laboratory tests if they present a valid outside doctor’s request.
