DESCRIPTION:
Philcare VidaCare Core is a prepaid HMO / health insurance for senior citizens (60 years old and above) that covers multiple-use benefits for unlimited medical and dental consultations to all Philcare accredited physicians nationwide and unlimited laboratory and diagnostics procedures available at Philcare-owned clinics only.
Age Eligibility and Validity
Philcare VidaCare Core is a prepaid HMO / health insurance for senior citizens (60 years old and above) and is valid for 1 year upon activation date. The benefit starts 7 days after the activation date. This Certificate of Coverage is non-transferable once activated.
Benefit Coverage
Outpatient Care Benefits:
- One (1) year unlimited medical and dental consultations to all PhilCare accredited physicians nationwide.
- One (1) year unlimited OP laboratory and diagnostics procedures available at Philcare-owned clinics except for Physical Therapy.
- Consultation for Pre-existing conditions is covered. Exceptions include cases related to all forms of behavioral disorders, developmental or psychiatric disorders, and psychosomatic illnesses whether acquired or congenital.
Availment Procedure
Consultation Availment:
- For medical consultations, create a self-issued Letter of Authorization (LOA) and personalized membership card on the PhilCare Consultations page. Present LOA, personalized membership, card, and 1 valid ID with picture to the chosen medical specialist.
- For dental consultations, ensure to call the dentist first for an available schedule.
HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR PHILCARE PREPAID HMO?
After purchase, you need to register your e-card voucher before you can use it.
